Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with watches lately, and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride. I wanted to get my hands on one of those fancy OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches, the Sapphire version. You know, the one that’s supposed to be all tough and cool-looking. This one in particular, caught my eye.
First, I started doing some digging online, just to see what this thing was all about. It’s that model that’s supposed to be able to handle all kinds of crazy stuff. The manual said that this thing is durable and a good investment piece. I don’t know much about these things, but it was really cool. I read that it’s got something called a “Cal.3861” movement, which I guess is a big deal. This specific model I got has the number 310.30.42.50.04.001 on it. They said it was made in 2024, so it’s pretty new. Then I saw that it’s got a stainless steel case, which is like, 42mm big.
Then I decided I really wanted it, so I started looking for where to buy one. Some folks online said you can get them at fancy stores, but I don’t really like those places. Too much pressure, you know? I heard from someone that you could find them at an auction but I don’t like that option too much. And then there are those online stores, but my friend told me they are kind of shady. A lot of people sell them for around 5-6 thousand dollars. I did see one that was listed for a whopping $33,000. That’s way too much for a watch. Someone told me that you can buy a “certified authentic pre-owned” one with a 2-year warranty. I didn’t know what that means.
Anyway, I finally found a way to get one. I found it at one of those specialty stores. I don’t usually go to these places, but I really wanted the watch. I’m not sure if I got a good deal or not, but I really like the watch. It feels really solid on my wrist. It was labeled “Original order” so it must be good, right?
I tried it on, and it felt pretty good. It’s got this clear back so you can see all the little gears and stuff moving around. I don’t know what any of that stuff does, but it looks neat. I wore it around for a few days, and I gotta say, it’s pretty comfortable. I even accidentally bumped it against a table, and it didn’t even scratch. So, I guess that’s a good sign, right?

All in all, I’m pretty happy with this watch. It looks cool, feels good, and seems pretty tough. I’m not sure if I’ll ever go to the moon, but hey, at least I’ve got a watch that could handle it, maybe. Plus, I’ve heard these things can be a good investment, so maybe I’ll make some money off it someday. Who knows? Anyway, just wanted to share my little adventure with you guys. Maybe next time I’ll try to find one of those gold ones, just for kicks.
