You know, that Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG, that’s a fancy name, ain’t it? Sounds like somethin’ them rich folks would carry around. I seen pictures of it, all shiny and new. They say it’s a good one to get, but my oh my, it costs more than my old cow Bessie!
Now, I ain’t one for them fancy things, but I do like a good, sturdy bag. Somethin’ that can hold my knitting needles, a couple of apples for the road, and maybe a little somethin’ for the grandkids. This YSL bag, they say it’s good for all sorts of things. Fancy dinners, goin’ to the market, you name it. But honestly, I’d be scared to take somethin’ that expensive to the market! Imagine the muck and the chickens!
They say this bag, this LE CARRé thing, it’s got a “front flap.” Sounds like somethin’ on a chicken coop, don’t it? And it’s got a “square clip fastening” that’s got the name “Saint Laurent” all over it. Seems a bit much to me, just to keep your stuff from fallin’ out. My old purse has a zipper, and it works just fine!
They started makin’ these bags back in 2019, I hear. They say it’s for folks who like “unfettered luxury.” Well, I don’t know about all that, but I do like things that are simple and do what they’re supposed to. No need for all them fancy words. This bag’s got “rounded edges” and “polished hardware.” Sounds like they spent more time makin’ it look pretty than makin’ it strong.

They say it’s for “youth and freedom.” Well, I’m past my youth, and I’m free as a bird, but I don’t think I need this bag for that! They say their bags are “classic” and have a “rebellious attitude.” I don’t know about rebellious, but I do like things that last a long time.
Some folks say these YSL bags, like this LE 5 a 7 one, are small, like for goin’ out at night. They are all “sleek” and “minimalist.” Those are just fancy words, right? But they say it’s also elegant. Well, I guess even us old folks can be elegant sometimes. I like the simple bag, it is good.
I seen these bags on somethin’ called “Saks OFF 5TH.” They say you can get ’em cheaper there. Up to 70% off! Now that’s somethin’ I can understand. Everyone likes a good bargain, even if it’s on a fancy bag. And they say the shipping is fast. Well, that’s good, ’cause when you order somethin’, you don’t want to wait forever for it to come.
This LE CARRé bag, they got it in black, too. Black’s a good color. Doesn’t show the dirt as much. They call it “BOX SAINT LAURENT.” What does that mean, I wonder? Sounds like they put it in a box or somethin’. Maybe to keep it safe from all the bumps and scratches.
If you want a real YSL bag, you gotta look for a special number inside. They call it a “serial number.” Like on them TV shows! It’s on a little piece of leather, the same color as the bag. Some of ’em say “Saint Laurent Paris” on the front. Paris! That’s far away. These bags must travel a long way to get here, but now you don’t need go to Paris to buy it.
They say these YSL bags are cheaper in Europe, especially in Paris. Like 20% cheaper! And if you’re a tourist, you can get even more money off. Sounds like a good reason to go to Paris, huh? But who’s got the money for that? Not me! And I heard that YSL has another name, I don’t know why, maybe just the boss has a lot of money to do that.
Well, I reckon that’s all I know about this Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. It’s a fancy bag, that’s for sure. Maybe too fancy for me. But if you got the money, and you like that sort of thing, then I guess it’s a good bag to buy. Just make sure it is real one, check the number. But me, I’ll stick to my old trusty purse. It’s got everything I need, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg!
