Alright, let’s gab about this Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag, ya hear? Folks keep jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents. Now, I ain’t no fancy pants, but I know what I like when I see it.
First off, they say this here bag is called “Peekaboo” ’cause of some kids’ game. Hide and seek, they called it first, but then this Fendi fella, Venturini, he liked “Peekaboo” better. Guess it’s ’cause of how the inside of the bag shows itself. Started sellin’ these things back in 2008, long time ago now.
What’s so special about it, you ask? Well, they say it’s a perfect small bag, but not too small, you get me? Like, you can stuff your things in it, but it won’t look like you carryin’ a suitcase. Some folks is sellin’ ’em used in places like Ashburn, if you wanna save a bit.
- They make ’em in all sorts of colors, like brown leather with fancy stuff on the front. Hand-made, they say, and real nice.
- Then there’s the green ones, soft as a baby’s butt, made of somethin’ called calfskin. No linin’ inside, just plain and simple.
Now, these bags ain’t cheap, mind you. Some folks say they cost four thousand dollars, even more! Lordy, that’s a whole lotta money. I heard tell of someone gettin’ one for about $260, shippin’ and all, but that’s a steal and a half, only 5% of the real price which is over $5000. Even then, the shiny bits got scratched up fast, so you gotta be careful.
Why so darn expensive? I reckon it’s ’cause of the name and the way they make it. They say it’s “iconic,” which I guess means famous or somethin’. They put this twisty lock thing on both sides, so it looks fancy. And they use real leather, not that fake stuff they sell down at the market.
But listen, most folks ain’t made of money, right? So, there’s people lookin’ for bags that look like the Peekaboo, but don’t cost a fortune. They call ’em “look alikes” or “alternatives.” I hear some of them are pretty good, soft and smooth like the real deal.
So, is it worth the money? Well, that depends on you, I reckon. If you got money to burn, go for it. It’s a real nice bag, no doubt about it. The leather’s good, the colors are pretty, and it’s just the right size, not too big, not too small, just perfect for your bits and bobs. They say it feels real good too, near the same as the real one if you get a good look alike. But if you ain’t got that kind of cash, there’s plenty of other bags out there that’ll do just fine. Don’t go breakin’ the bank for a name, ya hear?
And another thing, they got this black leather one too, with more of that fancy hand-made stuff on the front. Same twisty lock, and they got tags on it that say Fendi Iseeu, Peekaboo Iseeu, and Iseeu Small. Fancy names, for a fancy bag.
I seen some folks carryin’ them around, and they do look nice, I ain’t gonna lie. But for me, I’d rather spend that money on somethin’ practical, like a good pair of shoes or a warm coat. But hey, that’s just me. You do what makes you happy, that’s what I always say.
